Haydon, Linda Marie, age 64, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 12, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Linda was born January 4, 1953 in Llano, the youngest of five children born to Alvie Jefferson and Neola Marie (Weeaks) Weed. The family later moved to Austin, where Linda graduated from Lanier High School in 1971. She later moved to Leander, where she met George Haydon. They married March 17, 1973.

Linda was born January 4, 1953 in Llano, the youngest of five children born to Alvie Jefferson and Neola Marie (Weeaks) Weed. The family later moved to Austin, where Linda graduated from Lanier High School in 1971. She later moved to Leander, where she met George Haydon. They married March 17, 1973.
Linda found work with the Settlement Home for Children, where she would work for 25 years, until she retired in 2015.
Linda and George lived in Pflugerville and Round Rock, until 2012 when they moved to Burnet in anticipation of retirement.
Linda loved to dance. She also loved to travel, taking many vacations, seeing the country with her family. She was a fiercely dedicated wife and mother and family meant everything to her. She loved to host family members for holidays from Memorial Day to Christmas.
Linda's faith in the Lord was unwavering, and she loved her church home at Hoover Valley Baptist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Gary Wayne Weed, and her half- brother, Willie Jeff Weed.
She is survived by her Husband of 44 years, George Haydon, her son Jason Haydon, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Robert Eugene Crowder II. Sister, Betty Nell Billings, brother and sister-in-law Alvie and Christi Weed, sister-in-law Nora Elizabeth "Beth" Weed, brother and sister-in-law Joe and Judy Weed, and grandchildren Robert Eugene Crowder III, Julia Marie Crowder and Michael Douglas Crowder, and numerous nieces and nephews.
